Strategically located near the railway station and tram on a quiet street. Massive and comfy room, sparkling clean. Old-school lift adds a cute touch. Owner is super friendly. Mind-blowing advice from staff for an amazing itinerary. GREAT value for money. Will definitely stay again!

Location is excellent
On leaving the hotel we were pushed to pay with cash and told that for this 'special price' we had to pay with cash. It was only when I pulled out my Booked.net email that stated they took cc that I was allowed to proceed with Visa.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the value for money was excellent, especially compared to other places I stayed during my trip. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, just like Mr. Constantino from the reviews. He went out of his way to provide information and make sure I had a great stay. Thirdly, the rooms were clean and had very comfortable beds, just like the reviews mentioned. Lastly, the breakfast included had a great variety and everything was fresh.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

It is a family run hotel, really near the train station, almost next to a supermarket. We had good advice from the older brother on where to eat, buy bus-tickets, diections, etc. Most Italians we met spoke good English. The area is quiet, decent and safe, though it is a short walk off a busy street facing the railyway station. Lots of buses go there. We could walk to the Duomo in 15 mins. Breakfast was quite decent.
It was on the 2nd floor of a building. Many 3-star hotels in Florence were using parts of big buildings. We would have appreciated some signpost as we approached the lift on whether it can be used to get there. Because we were uncertain, my in-laws decided to carry their lugguage all the way up to the 2nd level. (They didn't even want to try). It will be a service to guests had it been made clear the ancient lift accesses the hotel directly. I had a little difficulty opening the lift door the first time, but we got used to it after that.

Really enjoyed spending my time in this immaculately clean friendly family run hotel. The rooms were beautiful with very comfortable beds, the staff were top-class and helpful. The location was excellent, close to an indoor market hall. Moreover, it's near to the main train station, the center of Florence, main tourist destination's, central market and train station-ideal location, and the museums. The food was good, had good choice of options.

This hotel is just a short walk from the main train station, which is incredibly convenient when you have lots of luggage. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map of the city upon our arrival, pointing out all the main attractions. The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.
One downside was the noise in the early morning, with garbage trucks and other guests being quite loud. For light sleepers like myself, it was a bit disruptive.

Great hotel for Christmas stay! Loved the complementary wine and sweets left in our room. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the train station and close to many cafes and shops. The Christmas decorations and atmosphere were lovely.
The walls were thin and we could hear noise from other guests in the hotel. Also, the breakfast was a bit lackluster and could have had a better selection.

The owner of the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. he took the trouble to help us feel at home and helped us decide where to go and where to eat. I was in Florence with my daughter and having this sort of guidance made all the difference to our visit. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was reasonably large clean and worked well. We had a great time and would use this hotel again.
Difficult to find anything, but if I was being picky the decoration in the rooms was a bit old fashioned.
